This Privacy Policy explains how INTISEN TECHNOLOGY PRIVATE LIMITED ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you use the Colorimetric Pro mobile application ("the App"). By using the App, you agree to the practices described here.
2. Information we collect
We collect the following categories of information:
- Account information: your mobile number (used for OTP verification), and optionally your name, email address, age, gender, city, state, country, and profile photo.
- Usage data: which features you use (e.g. saved colors, palettes, recordings) and basic app activity, used to enforce plan limits and improve the App.
- Subscription & payment data: your selected plan, subscription status, and payment confirmation details processed through our payment partner, Razorpay. We do not store your card, UPI, or bank details ourselves.
- Device & diagnostic data: basic technical information (device type, OS version, app version) used for compatibility and crash diagnostics.
3. How we use it
We use the information above to:
- Create and secure your account, and verify your identity via OTP.
- Provide the App's core features and enforce the limits of your subscription plan.
- Process payments and manage subscription renewals or cancellations.
- Respond to support requests and app feedback.
- Maintain and improve the reliability and performance of the App.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your data for third-party advertising.
4. Your color & photo data
When you use the camera or upload a photo to analyze a color, that image is processed on your device to calculate RGB, HEX, HSV, CIELAB, and wavelength values. Colors, palettes, and recordings you choose to save are stored to your account so they sync across app sessions and are included when you export a CSV or PDF. We do not use your saved images or color data to train any model, and we do not share it with third parties for marketing purposes.
5. Payments
Subscription payments are handled entirely by Razorpay, a licensed and PCI-DSS compliant payment gateway. When you subscribe, Razorpay processes your payment method directly — we only receive confirmation that a payment succeeded, the plan purchased, and a transaction reference. Please refer to Razorpay's own privacy policy for how they handle your payment details.
6. Sharing of information
We share information only in these limited circumstances:
- With Razorpay, to process subscription payments.
- With service providers who help us operate the App (e.g. cloud hosting, SMS/OTP delivery), under confidentiality obligations.
- If required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request.
- To protect the rights, property, or safety of INTISEN TECHNOLOGY PRIVATE LIMITED, our users, or the public.
We do not sell your personal information to any third party.
7. Storage & security
Your account data is stored on secured servers with access restricted to authorized personnel. We use industry-standard measures — including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and access controls — to protect your information. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Data retention
We retain your account and subscription data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal information within a reasonable period, except where we are required to retain it for legal, accounting, or fraud-prevention purposes.
9. Your rights & choices
You can:
- Access or update your profile information directly within the App (Profile → Edit Profile).
- Delete saved colors, palettes, or recordings at any time from within the App.
- Request account deletion by contacting us — see the Contact section below.
- Manage your subscription (upgrade, downgrade, or cancel) from your profile.
10. Children's privacy
The App is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take steps to delete it.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above, and where appropriate, we will notify you within the App.
